Ready?!  Maybe not.  


It’s no secret that we need to exercise.  So why do so many people have such a hard time getting started?  One reason is Inertia.  





Inertia is a law of physics that, simply put, says that objects that are at rest tend to stay at rest, and objects that are in motion tend to stay in motion.  In other words, people are caught in an “inertia trap”.  It can take an awful lot of energy to make a life change.  


Once the change is made, it’s much easier to keep it going.  I know this sounds a bit oversimplified but in this case…It’s often really that simple! There’s nothing fancy or “coachy” about it at all. 


The challenge this week is to Move, based on your Plan, All 7 days in a row!

  

If your plan calls for a 30-minute walk or an hour-long bike ride, whatever your plan calls for…. do it seven days in a row.  We call this a Life Sprint! 

(In this case, a Mini Life Sprint.) 


A Life Sprint is when we commit to doing something for a period of time that we are pretty sure we can’t keep doing forever.  The magic comes with saying these words to ourselves…“It’s Just” In this case It’s Just 7 days…. 


  • Don’t overdo it!  

  • Just move 

  • Everyday

  • For 7 days!
